What is sink refinishing?
Sink refinishing means the worn high-gloss coating is prepared and a new high-gloss coating is applied. The new surface is shiny, even, and free of brush marks, so a stained or chipped sink looks new again.
Why refinish a sink instead of replacing it?
A replacement sink can look inexpensive until you add removal, countertop disruption, a plumber, new caulk, and lost use of the kitchen or bathroom. Pedestal sinks and unusual shapes are even harder to match. Refinishing leaves the sink in place and skips extra plumbing.
We refinish single, double, vanity, kitchen, and pedestal sinks across Chicago and Des Plaines. Stubborn stains, chips, and faded color are repaired before the new coating goes on. Professional-grade, low-odor refinishing materials are used, and the sink stays out of service only for the work window plus the required cure time.
Do not expose the refinished sink to water for at least 24 hours after refinishing. Workmanship is covered by our 5-year warranty when aftercare instructions are followed.
